Run 10K or 5K. The course has two incredible views. The Verrazano Bridge and the NYC Skyline will make you wonder whether you are still in NYC. Get there by car, bike, foot, subway, bus, or even boat. Yes, boat, take the NYC water taxi to the pier and you’ll be at the starting line. We can’t wait to see you!
Race on a well-marked runner’s lane in a car-free and people-friendly park. The race is chip timed live. Results will be posted in our website. In addition, if you run with your phone you can also use the active – onsite App to get auditory guidance, mile updates, and your friends and family can watch your progress live.

PARKING
There are no parking lots that are close to the race venue. The closest is at 8501 5th Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11209. The best FREE parking is on Shore Road between 82nd and 86th Streets and around the Fort Hamilton High School. You can walk to the race venue in approximately 5 minutes from this area.

It is a one-loop course.
There are no turns or intersections. The path borders the NY Bay for the entire distance.
The Start and Finish are at the same location.
U-turn is at the 1.55 mile mark.
10K
It is a two-loop course. Each loop is 3.1 miles long.
There are no turns or intersections. The path borders the NY Bay for the entire distance.
The Start and Finish are at the same location.
The first U-Turn is at the 1.59 mile point. You will pass the 5K U-turn. Follow the signage and volunteer directions to turn at the right point.
The second U-Turn is located approximately .7 miles from START. A volunteer and signage will guide you around the U-Turn.

Half Distance: Plaque awards to the top three male and female runners overall. Plaque Age group awards will be awarded to the top three in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over.
5k & 10K: Plaque awards to the top three male and female runners overall. Plaque Age group awards will be awarded to the top three in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-9, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and better.
RULES
In order to receive an official time you must wear you bib on your torso. (not on your leg)
You must be able to complete the 5K in one hour and the 10K in 90 min. The half marathon in 3 hours or less.
Race numbers will be assigned to you to participate – no bandits please.
All participants must sign both the USA Track & Field waiver and the City Tri Runs waiver form.
You must be at least 12 years old to participate.
You must be in good health and physically prepared to take on the challenge.
If you attempt to sell or send somebody else in your place to race under your name you will be banned from future racing.
We strongly recommend that you purchase ACTIVE REFUND when you register.
You will receive a refund if you are unwilling or unable to attend this event for any reason. Simply submit a refund request 48 hours prior to the start of the activity date.
Citytri offers LIMITED transfers/credits to another event. The deadline is 1 – 4 weeks depending on the event, transfer fees start at $25 and you must complete the transfer yourself. See instructions here.
