You’ll run past it four times on a relatively flat and fast course with two small uphill sections when you cross an overpass. HALF MARATHON COURSE:
It is a 3.27 Mile loop that you complete 4 times. You start at the Unisphere Circle running southwest on a tree lined path, turn right after a quarter mile, continue on a similar path, and then veer to the left and towards the large ramp. Run through the vehicle barriers (there’s enough space for runners) and over the ramp. Run onto the Ederle Circle where you’ll see the first support station with water, gel, and electrolyte drinks. Run to the right and run around ¾ of the circle, turn right onto the center lane and run for a quarter mile until you see signs to turn left. Follow the paths and signs to turn left twice and then turn right and back onto the that that takes you back to the Ederle Circle. At the circle veer to the right and back onto the ramp. Follow the course back to the start area, running past it and to the Unisphere. At the Unisphere, turn right, run past the Unisphere and onto the 3rd right, follow the tree lined path north to the newly installed LL Cool J statue. Turn right at the statue and then right again onto another three lined path, follow for a quarter mile, turn right and run towards the famous Rocket Thrower statue. Follow the signs and directions of the volunteers to run around the Rocket Thrower statue and back onto the path that returns you to the Finish Line. This will be the completion of one loop. You run past the Finish Line following the signs and guidance of volunteers and then complete the same loop 3 more times. Finally, on your final loop you follow the signs, “FINISH ONLY” keeping straight and going through the FINISH line arches. Every turn will be marked with cones and/or large yard signs with arrows. There will be volunteers along the course providing you with directions.
10K COURSE
10K Athletes run most of the half marathon course for two (2) loops. The only difference is that you do not run
around the baseball/cricket fields and instead U-turn at the first left after running from the Ederle Circle and return to the starting point using the paths. You will see cones and signs marked 10K.
5K COURSE

There will be signage on the course, large red yard signs with white arrows and/or yellow stands with arrows, pointing you in the right direction at any intersection. The yard signs will be in the grass at the intersection and the yellow stands are in the middle of the road/path. We will post several volunteers at key points to assure that you do not get lost.
