The pulse of the running world can be felt in Central Park where you and hundreds of athletes from around the world will compete. To race in Central Park is breathtaking not only because of the great course but also because of what this place means to runners from all over the world. This is the largest and most important public backyard (park) in NYC with 843 acres of trees, meadows, paths, and attractions. It’s always beautiful and in the middle of the summer, it’s the place to be. The course is perfect for you, marked at every mile and turn, supported with water stations that have ice cold water, Gatorade and Sustainable ZenWtr recycled plastic bottled water. Join us afterward for a fun awards ceremony, NYC’s best bagels!

The race starts on EAST Drive and 102nd Street Crossing/Transverse.
The drop off area is on 102nd Street Crossing/Transverse, approximately 50 yards after the start line.

AWARDS
Each distance award winners will receive: Acrylic awards to the top three male and female runners overall. Age group to the top three in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69
PACKET PICK-UP
If you did not receive your bib in the mail please let us via email. We will have limited bibs and packets available on race day. Location and scheduled will be announced via email and posted here. You will need picture I.D. to pick up your bib. Know your bib number.
RULES
You MUST wear your BIB on your front torso=stomach to assure that you get timed.
You must be able to complete the half marathon in 3 hours or less.
Race numbers are required to participate – no bandits please.
All participants must sign both the USA Track & Field waiver and the City Tri Runs waiver form.
You must be at least 14 years old to participate.
You must be in good health and physically prepared to take on the challenge.
You must show photo ID to receive your race number and timing tag.
Coaches, baby-joggers, bikes, dogs, in-line skates, skateboards or dogs will not be allowed on the course.
If you attempt to sell your race number, you may be banned from future racing.
We strongly recommend that you purchase ACTIVE REFUND when you register.
You will receive a refund if you are unwilling or unable to attend this event for any reason. Simply submit a refund request 48 hours prior to the start of the activity date.
Citytri offers LIMITED transfers/credits to another event. The deadline is 1 – 4 weeks depending on the event, transfer fees start at $25 and you must complete the transfer yourself. See instructions here.
