The seldom seen Freedom Tunnel will echo with the sound of your feet as you run over it and through NYC’s quintessential Riverside Park. Wedged between the historical Upper West Side neighborhood and the Hudson River this venue is known for its gorgeous views of Manhattan’s waterfronts, lush greenery and myriad walking and biking paths. Enjoy it all with a course that will leave you wanting to explore more of this 150 year old park designed by America’s renowned landscape architect Fredrick La Olmsted.

Take the 1,2 or 3 train to 72nd street Station. Walk West towards Hudson River into Riverside Park. Check the MTA planner for train schedule.

THE COURSE
Run, Race 5K or 10K over a fast and flat loop on one of the most beautiful courses in the world, the Riverside Park. The course consists of 1 loop for the 5K and 2 loops for the 10K. Please note: the park is undergoing renovations and the course may be changed.
TIMING
Please arrive on time to retrieve your bib number. We give out shirts with the medals after the race.
RESULTS and SPLITS PER LOOP are posted LIVE in our results page that links to race|result. We use the latest German engineered technologies and equipment specifically designed to score and track your run.
We place timing devices at the U-turns of our course to assure that all runners complete the course.
You MUST wear your BIB on your front torso to assure that you get timed.
You will get timing splits each time that you run past the START and at two additional locations. Your time will be posted online at the following RESULTS PAGE. You can share this with your fans so that they see your splits as they happen.

AWARDS
PLAQUE AWARDS will be awarded to the top three male and female runners overall and to the top three in each of the following age groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 and over.
RULES
In order to receive an official time you must wear you bib on your torso. (not on your leg).
You must arrive on time and start within 2-3 minutes of your wave start. However, if you arrive late we cannot adjust your time especially if that affects the awards ceremony.
You must be able to complete the half marathon in 3 hours or less.
